Zachary's First Hair Cut

Wesley and Zachary SICK :(

Wes woke up Sunday with a runny nose and cough. Well Monday he kept coughing so much he kept throwing up. Timmie brought him to the doctor today. He has a bad upper resp. infection. He gave him meds for Wes and Zac. We also had to start breathing treatments on both of them again..Thankfully Wes and Zac does so will with them. Now I am just waiting on Timmie to get sick. They are usually sick all at the same time. 

Update on Wesley

Last weekend we had a scare with Wesley. He was acting weird the night before. He really won't play after his nap. So checked his temp. It was at 100. We gave him medicine and put him to bed. He woke up at 10:00 with a very weird cry. When I went get him, he kept crying and he throw up (normal for Wes when he gets upset). But he was still upset. We took his temp and it as 99.6. We gave him more tylenol. It took 45 minutes to get him to bed. Finally he fell asleep with us. Well around 3:30. I feel a weird kick. I got up and turned on the light. He was having a seizure. (temp was 101.1) OMG scared the crap out of us. He was completely limp and crying afterwards. We called Frances to come over to watch the boys. We took Wes to River Parish. They took blood, urine, and x-rays. We was transfered to Our Lady of the Lake. From there another x-ray.  the doctor said he is having Febrile seizures (fever seizure). Around this time some kids get these fever seizures. Wes' body gets them with really low grade fever. So we have to take his temp and make sure to give him tylenol anytime his temp is 99 or higher. He should grow out of them by age 4.

Away from my Boys

Well last night was the first night away from my boys since Zac was born (this was the first time being away from Zac for the night). I had a professional development meeting at LSU for 2 days and I stayed out there. It was SO weird going to sleep in a hotel room by myself. The boys stayed with my mother in law until Timmie got off of work at 5:30. Timmie is so good with the boys. He had them last night and all today. He keeps when he is off. He works shift work, so he has them 2-3 days during the week while I am at work. But it was really nice just to get away for the night. I had a meeting until 8:00. We (a few of the other teachers and our principal) stayed up until 3:00 am just talking and playing games. It was really nice. (well until I had to wake up at 7:00 am to start the day for more meetings...lol...But I really enjoyed myself. 

Starting 2010 with a BLOG!!!

I have been putting it off. But I finally started it. 

Here is a little about me:

Timmie and I was married on July 30, 2004. We decided to starting trying to have kids. We had a lot of troubles and ended up having to do IVF.  So we decided to do one round of IVF. Thankfully after 2 years on fertility medicine it worked and we were PG with 2 BABIES!!!!!

My pregnancy and delivery:
I had a great PG until I was 24 weeks. At 24 weeks I was getting a lot of contractions. I was taken out of work and put on bedrest. I went in and out of the hospital until 29 weeks. At 29 weeks they couldn’t stop the contractions I got my 2 steroid shots and I delivered the boys vaginally at 30 weeks exactly. Wesley and Timmie were both 3.9. Wesley stayed in the NICU for 4 weeks and Timmie stayed for 5 weeks. Thankfully they are VERY healthy.

My SURPRISE pregnancy and delivery:
When the twins were 4 months, I pulled a muscle in my back . The doctor gave me medicine, but she told me I can’t take it if I was PG or BFing. I was no longer BFing. Well I bought a test just to be sure. DH even laughed at my “We had sex twice and you think you at PG.” No I didn’t. but I am weird about medicine. WELL, I came out of the bathroom SHAKING!!!!! He looked at me and said whats wrong. I say “ummmmm, I’m PREGNANT”…We just stud there for a few minutes in COMPLETE SHOCK!!! My doctor was VERY surprised as well. My doctor kept a very close eye on me since I delivered the boys at 30 weeks. But at 25 weeks I ended up in L&D with contractions. They were coming every 3 minutes and I was dilated 1 cm. Thankfully they stopped them. I was put on strict bedrest. I went in and out of the hospital to stop labor. At 31 weeks I got my steroid shots. At 36 weeks he said he wasn’t going to stop them anymore. Zachary was born weighing 6.13 at 36 weeks. 

Now:

The twins are 21 months and Zachary is 9 months. They are doing amazing. Getting into everything. It is so much fun having 3 little boys!!!!
